Ericka & Michael's Engagement Session on 35mm | Fishtown, Philadelphia

My BFF is getting married in August and I insisted on being her wedding photographer. Doing double duty as a wedding guest and photog is my favorite way to do a wedding. I never want to give up the opportunity to photograph my friends’ weddings! There’s a lot of intimacy involved in being a couple’s wedding photographer. It’s something I really like doing for the people I love.

Ericka and Michael needed some photos for their save the dates so we got out a 35mm and some Ilford HP5 one night before we headed to a concert together. The results were some grainy, dusty, and laidback shots of their little family.
